The long-term goal of the survey is to examine the functioning of the health system according to a number of parameters: care experience and satisfaction with the service level; trust in the system; accessibility of health services; patterns of use in primary and secondary medicine; and the use of remote medical services. The current survey was conducted during the Iron Swords War, and therefore additional metrics related to the provision of health services during the war and to mental health were added.

The aim of this study was to examine trends in satisfaction with healthcare services, patterns of use, and barriers to accessing care among adults aged 65+ between the years 1999 and 2021, and to offer projections for the coming years.

The objective of this study was to develop a compensation mechanism based on the existing mechanism that includes ex-ante risk adjustment methods that adjusts hospitals’ prices by case-complexity.  Such a mechanism is expected to promote more precise accounting regarding the current situation between the health-plans and hospitals, reduce the incentive to cream-skim non-complex patients versus more complex patients, and lead to improved efficiency of the system.

The objective of the analysis was to assess the differences between Israeli residents living in peripheral, middle-ranking, and central localities (clusters 1-4, 5, and 6-10 on PILA, respectively) in a variety of health system-related aspects: patterns of health service usage, forgoing medical care, voluntary health insurance (VHI) coverage, satisfaction with the health plan and health system, and trust in the health system.

The objective of the study was to examine the degree of financial protection that the Israeli health system provides to its residents by (1) examining trends between 2005 and 2019; (2) comparing data from Israel with that of European countries; (3) examining the health services that undermine financial protection.

The multi-year goal of the series of biennial surveys is to examine various aspects of the health care system performance: patients’ perspectives regarding their care experience and satisfaction with the level of service; the quality of the primary and secondary care services; public trust in the health care system; service accessibility and availability; and the use of telehealth services. Other issues were also examined in the 2021-2022 survey: the use of telehealth services, examined from a broader perspective; preventive medicine; home hospitalization as an alternative to inpatient hospital care; satisfaction with the health plans during the COVID-19 pandemic; and language accessibility.

The objectives of this study are toIdentify differences between Jews born in Israel along with veteran immigrants, Arabs and post-1990 immigrants in various aspects related to the health system: patterns of using health services; foregoing health services; having voluntary insurances and seeking services outside the public system; satisfaction with the health plans and health system; and trust in the health system.
